Case Study - Mastercard Australia
Mastercard is seeking to consolidate their existing 4 offices (sites) across Sydney into one location at 72 Christie Street, St Leonards – approximately 7500m2 over 5 floors. The overlying objective of the project relates to business transformation and consolidation. The project enablers include people, place and technology which bring together business transformation.
Cushman & Wakefield has been asked by Mastercard for end-to-end project management services for the proposed fitout and relocation of Mastercard’s new Sydney Corporate office including acting as principal for the consultancy and contractor teams.
Cushman & Wakefield is also working with the building landlord on behalf of Mastercard, to ensure landlord base building make good obligations are delivered within the terms of agreement executed in the lease and within the program set out by the landlord.
Through project briefings with Mastercard’s stakeholders and steering committee, a site was located and finalised as the new destination and home for One Mastercard.
One Mastercard was established as the project name which aligns with the new workplace design strategy, with endorsed business direction and strategic re-positioning of Mastercard into the marketplace as leaders and innovators of technology and services that drives growth.
The approved workplace fitout strategy and concept design was delivered within the first milestones under parameters of a highly compressed program. We continue to maintain a tight project control mechanism to hit all key milestones through collaboration with project consultants and Mastercard’s steering committees.
