Cushman & Wakefield has appointed highly experienced industrial property specialist Michael Binskin to the role of Associate Director – Industrial, to be based in its Sydney office.

In appointing Mr Binskin, the world’s largest privately held real estate services firm strengthens its already experienced team in the south Sydney and inner west property markets.

Cushman & Wakefield Australian Managing Director, Capital Markets Joshua Charles said the appointment was a coup for the firm given Mr Binskin’s vast experience in the Sydney industrial market.

“We are delighted to welcome Michael to Cushman & Wakefield,” Mr Charles said.

“Michael’s 14 years experience in the industrial sector will be highly valuable as we continue our growth phase, and his expertise in south Sydney and the inner west is particularly important given these markets are very popular with the major REITs in the current climate,” he said.

Mr Binskin joins Cushman & Wakefield from CBRE where he has most recently served as Manager in its South Sydney Industrial & Logistics Services team.

Prior to that he spent 12 years at John L Hill & Co, where he specialised in the inner west industrial market.
