At the conclusion of 2017, Cushman & Wakefield had 10 graduates complete the 2017 emerging leaders program.
The program is run by invitation, with employees nominated by management and comprises a series of monthly, interactive workshops and is aimed at employees who are not yet people managers, but who are developing into roles requiring people management and related managerial skills including:
- Situational Leadership
- Managing Priorities
- Managing Conflict
- Time Management
- Effective meetings and decision-making
The workshops are practical and hands-on, with time to discuss and apply the information presented. Each workshop also allows time to answer questions from the previous session and review how the participants had been able to apply their new skills.
Graduates found the interactive style of the workshops allowed them to share knowledge and ideas by bringing real examples to the discussion and hearing different perspectives.
